3.5 m of lace hem tape to go, two more seasons of “The Guild” to watch. Which one will I run out of first?

Sewing is what I do when I'm cheating on all my other hobbies...

I’m guessing you’ll run out of TV first if you’re sewing it by hand. Although, a 3-toed sloth (or is it 2-toes?) could probably hand sew faster than me, so you might run out of hemming first…..
It wound up only taking about an hour and a half. Yay! 🙂
Definitely faster than I would have done it then. 😉
Oh boy, 3.5m? That’s a lot of hem tape. Good luck making it through to the end.
The Guild episodes are short, so one season is about an hour and a half? I’m guessing you’ll break even. Good luck!
oooo, that’s a tough one. Let us know how it works out!
It’s done! Now if I can just pull myself together enough for photos…
Oh, puh-leazze…a mere 3.5 metre hem? HUMPH. I habitually handsew horsehair/ribbon/ hand-trim with beads on MUCH LONGER hems on a REGULAR BASIS. (I LOOOVE hugely flared ankle-length peasant-type skirts AND handsewing; in fact i like it BETTER than sewing with a machine!) I don’t think I’ve got a hem less than 4 metres anywhere in my collection of skirts! So, 3.5 metres is a mere bagatelle, for ME anyway! When people ask me how I do it, I say “I just keep sewing till it’s done!” I have come to realize that a touch of “obsessive/compulsive disorder” is a great asset when it comes to things like sewing; that way you don’t mind doing the same thing over and over and over…
Wow I really like the dress great job.
