Made this in just a few hours, very easy to make. I used just one way strech knit instead but still worked out great. I did hem the sleeves using heat’n’bond which worked great will b making this again.

  41. I can’t access the pattern. It says I need permission…

    • Yeah, I have tried to fix it but it did not work and I haven’t had time to dig into the issue. In the meantime I have to share permission for each person. πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

I know I’m late to the party but what fabric did you use for your shirt. Trying to find a good shirt fabric and can’t find what I’d like. Thank you for sharing your tutorial. Really well written and easy to understand. Looking forward to making it.

  44. I have just printed the pattern to make but I am not sure about lining up the pages. Do I have to trim them all around? I see right angle marks in the upper corners and lines at the bottom of each page. How do I line the pages up?

    is this size range a joke 🀣 it’s a joke right? I’m a 48 in bust

    • Hi Carrie Ann! I definitely agree that size inclusivity is important and a great goal for commercial pattern makers and designers, but alas I am neither of these. This is a pattern I drafted for myself, in 2012, and decided to share for free. It is in no way a professionally made or tested pattern; it is not a free sample designed by a company to encourage you to check out their lineup. It’s just something I wanted to share with people who read my blog. At the time I made it, I fit the β€œsmall” size and grading up three more sizes seemed risky enough considering I have only a rough idea of how to grade a pattern. I absolutely encourage you to make up your own version, if you want to, with a size range that suits your own body; I believe I used β€œMetric Pattern Drafting for Women” as a reference. You will be much more satisfied with your version than you would have been with mine!
